Sustainability

During the production process, we consciously consider the environment. Our own internal waste streams are the beginning of our sustainability cycle. We then, as it should be, continually and fully reintroduce clean die-cut waste during the production process.

A portion of our products are made from recycled material. By running the die-cut waste through a shredder and supplementing it with new material, it can be reused for the manufacture of new products. Plastic waste that is released during the production process is also ground down and added back to the first phase of the production process.

We also use bio-based raw materials. Bioplastic is a type of plastic made from renewable, plant-based material or another biological source not based on petroleum. Some types of bioplastic are also biodegradable. That means it can be broken down by water, carbon dioxide, or microorganisms during composting. Bioplastic can be used for many, but not all, products. Contact TreMalin to discuss the possibilities.
